01/15/2011Deadline to reserve your copy of a Memory Book (if extras are ordered, we will take requests to reserve a book on a first come, first served basis for any limited quantity of extras that we may order. We do not guarantee that we will order extras for sale after January 15 or during the last week of school when books are distributed for signing).

Ordering Your Memory Book & Prices

Memory Books will not be delivered until the last week of school. To ensure that your child receives a copy, we encourage you to reserve your copy by placing an advance order. You may reserve your copy in two ways: (i) return the paper order form (print and return the form) with your payment or (ii) order and pay by credit card on the Josten’s web site: www.jostensyearbooks.com (select K-12 as “school or group type;” select USA as “country or territory;” select Virginia as “state or province”). Either way, we will acknowledge your order with a receipt.

The per book price is $20 until December 31, 2010. After that, the per book price increases to $22. We will commit to a firm number of books ordered from the publisher by January 15, 2011. After that, we will take requests to reserve a book on a first come, first served basis for any limited quantity of extras that we may order. We do not guarantee that we will order extras for sale after January 15 or during the last week of school when books are distributed for signing.


Cover Art Contest

Submissions for this year’s cover contest are due Friday, September 24, 2010. All entries must include the following:

  • be designed on two 8 ½” x 11” pieces of paper with the front cover on one page and the back cover on another piece of paper
  • paper should be white
  • include a front and a back cover design
  • represent the them: Let's Celebrate 50 Years of Learning!  Pinchbeck Elementary 1961-2011
  • include “Pinchbeck” and “2010 - 2011”
  • be colorful and fun
  • include the student’s name, grade, and teacher on the back of each page of the design
  • Permissions

    We will include your child’s picture individually and as part of class pictures and candids unless you opt out. We will consider your child opted out if (i) your child’s name is on Henrico County’s “no photo” list or (ii) you notify the PTA of a decision to “opt out” of the Memory Book (print and return the form). To be effective in excluding your child from class pictures, you must opt out before October 1, 2010.
