PEPTA Goals
2009-2010
  • Encourage volunteer participation at all Pinchbeck events.

  • Continue supporting our teachers, staff and principal through hospitality, volunteering and appropriate funding.

  • Foster communication between the PTA Executive Board, the School Administration, Teachers and the Pinchbeck Elementary School Community.

  • Continue to support daytime and evening programs that enhance the learning environment and goals of the school curriculum.

  • Encourage student participation in the Reflections Program.

  • Encourage student participation in the Science Fair.

  • Encourage student participation in the Go Read Program.

  • Encourage parents/teachers to access the Pinchbeck PTA website.

  • Provide family fitness education and activities to encourage healthy lifestyles.

  • Initiate the construction of an outdoor classroom at Pinchbeck designed to incorporate SOL-based learning and promote Pinchbeck's educational goals.

  • Implement a recycling program in the classroom and cafeteria while teaching recycling methods.

  • Reduce the number of paper flyers going home through student’s backpacks by making PTA communications available electronically to parents.
