Eleven parents at Pinchbeck have been nominated by the PTA Board, teachers and school staff for this years Athena Asselanis Volunteer of the Year Award. You can read why each volunteer was nominated by clicking here and then cast your vote. Voting will be done electronically this year. You may only vote once and for only 1 person. The deadline to vote is Friday, March 19th.

Did you remember to download the Science Fair Packet? Did you remember to sign up to participate in the Science Fair? If not you can still obtain your packet online, it is easy, just click here. Than sign up to participate in the Science Fair by clicking here.

If you completed those steps, now it is time to start having fun. Students can start to research topics, remember the scientific method, and gather materials.

This year teachers are giving an extra grade for participating, so get started and join the excitement of the Science Fair.

Heads up! The 2010 Field Day is coming to Pinchbeck on Friday, May 14. Mark your calendar now so you can share a relaxing day with your children as we celebrate a special school day tradition. Did I say relaxing???? We are gearing up for an activity packed day filled with fun, energy, enthusiasm, and lots of Pinchbeck School Spirit!

As part of this tradition and to encourage Field Day as a team building exercise, the PTA is offering the opportunity to purchase Field Day T-shirts. This is not a fundraising event and t-shirts are only $5 for students and $6 for parents. Field Day T-Shirt order forms can be printed by clicking here and will need to be submitted to your child's teacher with a check payable to Pinchbeck PTA before Spring Break (April 2nd).
